INKAS® Armored Vehicle Was Attacked in Nigeria
Zero casualties were reported among the passengers of the INKAS® Armored vehicle, which was under attack in Nigeria. Thankfully, only a small percentage of our bulletproof vehicles ever take fire. However when it happens, INKAS® Armored is proud to share that its vehicles were able to provide 100% ballistic protection to its passengers. The recent attack in Nigeria proved that INKAS® Armored vehicles could stand up against the most severe attacks.
On July 23, 2014 the former head of state General Muhamadu Buhari’s convoy was attacked on its way to Daura, Nigeria. According to media reports, a fast moving vehicle made quite a few attempts to overtake Mr. Buhari’s bulletproof car, but it was blocked by the escort vehicles. When the convoy entered to the market area, the attacker detonated the bomb, which damaged all three cars in the convoy. Zero casualties were reported among the passengers of the vehicles.
